Episode One: Our Humble Introduction

We had too much fun recording this pilot episode for our new internet radio series. It's funny because it really started out as us recording goofy shit that was going on in the studio while we were recording our own tracks... that's why the "flashbacks" have a slight difference in the recording quality. Our new home at The Conduit Magazine has much better acoustics (that means its sounds better for u slow nuccaz). This episode has been on the web for about two weeks now, and we're getting some great feedback... we would like to here from more artists and producers too tho. I spoke with a few guys at Sonotheque this weekend (and yes, Madlib cancelled. Booo!!!) and they told me how podcasts and shows like us are just as vital to local artists as services like myspace, if not more. Every show, we have a one our segment in which an artist, producer, group, or dj can pretty much take over our show. This artist spotlight segment is tha shit because not only do you get to get interviewed and participate in the show, but you also get to pick a couple of your favorite songs for the show's playlist AND play 10 of your own tracks! So what now? Well Episode 2 is in the works and I'm quite fuckin excited. We got some great topics, a new segment called "8 Reasons Why", guest producers doing the background music, and an Artist Spotlight segment featuring The Mighty Cartel!!!
